WUBBANUB!

WUBBANUB might be one of the greatest inventions ever! It has become a staple in the boyz cribz. One of many very utilized and functional gifts we have received.

What is a wubbanub? If you have a preemie or infant baby you need to get in the know real fast! WUBBANUB - is the savior to the standard benkie & with a little nifty twist. It is 'less' likely to FALL out of your child's mouth while in use b/c of the soft and furry cushion stuffed animal neatly attached to the end. What a concept.

While the boys were in the NICU, they were supplied with a set of 'SOOTHIEs' to assuage their appetites between Inspector Gadget investigation hour & feedings. Here lies the problem. The SOOTHIE continuously falls out of their mouths IF they are not sucking hard enough to keep them in place, or for another reason they POP out - Which happens ALOT. How does this affect the rest of the household? It causes mommie and daddie to find themselves 'sprinting' into action to investigate what is going on inside the boys room that may be causing the raucous and 'FIX' it. It turns out more often then not, the soothie is the problem.

Clearly we can all agree, madness 'might' temporarily set in if this was to occur 100s of times per day, hypothetically speaking of course. :_)

God forbid we don't hear the first few baby queues that either nugget decides to make as a way of getting our attention. If we don't act quickly, a symphony errupts in ways only parents instintively all know far to well.

They each have a serious set of PIPES on them! Very quickly, if they want something, they will let you know!!

Long Story Short. After we got talking about a solution to our dilemma and Lara recalled that cousin Becky & Family cleverly provided us with a couple of WUBBANUBs that we had not yet pulled out and utilized. After a quick dry-run, the boys were off and taking to their new WUBBANUBs like a duck to water. What would you know, the stuffed animal pacifier IS the saving grace for HOLDING squarely in place! The boys favorite pastime just got a lot more peaceful for Mom & Dad!

Since the latest FIX, the boys rarely 'loose' their WUBBANUB. And usually only after they have each sweetly and soundly drifted off to sleep. Now when they wake, the first thing they see is their trusty brown puppy WUBBANUB awaiting their return t0 provide a soothing pacifier suckie just babyfingers grasp away!
